The Imbued Chronovane is a story item, acquired after collecting Chronopointer, Hoot's Hourglass and Time Anchor, and then entering and completing Highvault.

Scrap Disaster

Upon visiting Highvault with all three pieces collected, the Scrap Disaster story event will occur. Highvault will be barraged by a constant rain of thunder and meteorites, and there are very few enemies throughout the entire level. Upon reaching Hoot Omega, it will ally with the player and protect them from the ever-increasing barrage of meteorites. When a large barrage of meteories is about to happen, Hoot Omega will form an "umbrella" of tornadoes which the player can hide under to keep safe. Upon reaching the end of the stage, Hoot Omega will enter the sheltered section and give a thumbs-up to the player, only to be hit by one of the meteories and immediately die, clearing the level and granting the player the Imbued Chronovane and (5?) Titan Shards.

If the player replays the story event via the REV Device, they will begin the level with 1 Orbital Barrier, 2 Megahearts, 1 Core Expander, Dracopent's Bound, Oxjack's Guile and Armatort's Pound.

Trivia

• Before collecting the Imbued Chronovane, its description reads: Collect the pieces. Visit the Storm's domain.
• If the player has the Display Run Time setting enabled, the timer will show -420759360 minutes, which is equivalent to about -800.5 years. As Highvault's Datalore shows that the Scrap Distaster occurred in October 2255, it can be deduced that the events of 30XX take place in the year 3056.
• If the player has the Symbol of Submission, it will not function in the Scrap Disaster event, as the symbol has no meaning before Eleanor starts her work on Midgard.
• The music that plays during the Scrap Disaster event is Echoes Never Die, a remix of Endless Echo from 20XX.

Tips

• If the player enters Level 7 with two of the three pieces collected and Highvault has been left until Level 8, Delta will appear within Level 7 offering the final piece.

History

• Release 1.00.0: The music played in the Scrap Disaster event is now Echoes Never Die. Previously, it was Skybound, Highvault's regular theme.
