Reboot is a Repro-type augment. When obtained, it trails behind the user. When the user blocks an enemy projectile through any means, Reboot will increase its charge level by 1, up to a maximum of 3. Additionally, Reboot will gain a single charge level if it's been uncharged for 10 seconds. Upon firing a charged shot, Reboot will also fire a giant laser from the player's location, dealing a flat 20 damage per charge level.
Picking up more than one Reboot raises its level by 1, increasing the base damage dealt per charge level by 10. With the Zookeeper's Set Bonus active, the charge level of attacks is increased by 1, although the maximum charge level of an attack remains at 3.
Interactions and Synergies
- When fired with
Zookeeper's Wrath, Reboot gains a free charge level (still capped at 3), even if it was already charged.
- Besides the damage boost from additional levels or copies and that of
Zookeeper's Sigil, Reboot does not benefit from damage buffs.
Bugs
- Reboot's self charge will not activate until the player first manually blocks a projectile.
Trivia
History
- Release 1.2.0: Appears less often and now costs 43 nuts instead of 30. This also changed its salvage value from 2 to 3.
- Early Access 0.56.0: Now properly charged by
Armatort's Pound.
- Unknown Version: Now properly charged by
Orbital Barrier or
Oxjack's Guile. This was undocumented.
- Early Access 0.36.0: No longer triggers switches, unless the player has
Zookeeper's Burden.
