Vibrodevourer is a Prototype Augment. When obtained, the player becomes unable to use Primary Weapons. If the player uses a Power or Technique without having enough energy to use it, it will still be used but will only deal 0.4x normal damage. If multiple copies of this prototype are acquired, there is no additional effect.

With Prototype Resonator, Powers used without energy will have deal 0.5x normal damage instead.

Collecting System Restore will allow the player to use their Primary Weapons again. Powers used at 0 energy will still deal reduced damage.

Interactions and Synergies

• As Ace, Techniques used at 0 energy will still deal full damage.
• Obliteration Pulse may not be used if the player does not have enough energy.
• Powers which drain energy over time, like Void Double or Negation Barrier, will immediately deactivate if the player runs out of energy, despite them still technically being usable.
• When appearing as an offer from shops and the Smuggler due to the effects of Madness Fountain, this prototype costs 2 nuts and 1 Scrapbit respectively.

Bugs

• Whether powers used at 0 energy with Vibrodevourer deal 0.4x or 0.5x damage depends on whether the player has Prototype Resonator in their inventory, not whether they had it upon obtaining the prototype.
