Consuming Habits is a Prototype Augment. When obtained, it gives the player 25 nuts. Additionally, whenever the player defeats a boss, they receive an additional 25 nuts, and their maximum health gets reduced by 15. If multiple copies of this prototype are acquired, the maximum health lost per boss kill will stack additively, and the nut gain of the most recently obtained copy will take effect when killing a boss.
With Prototype Resonator, it grants the player 40 nuts on pickup and after each boss kill.
Collecting System Restore stops the player from losing maximum health whenever they defeat a boss.
Interactions
- When appearing as an offer from shops and the Smuggler due to the effects of
Madness Fountain, this prototype costs 2 nuts and 1
Scrapbit respectively.
Trivia
Consuming Habits is loosely based on the 20XX prototype
Consuming Fury, but grants nuts instead of attack and power strength.
- When cured with
System Restore, the message that appears is: the agony abates.
History
- Early Access 0.50.0: HP loss on level up reduced to 15, and nut gain increased to 25. Previously, it cost 20 HP and granted 20 nuts on level up.
