Zookeeper's Phalanx is a core augment. When equipped, whenever the player takes damage, there is a 10% chance to ignore the damage completely. For every Repro the player owns, the chance increases by 4%, to a maximum of 30% with five Repros.

With the Resonant Chestplate, a flat 15% chance to ignore damage is added to the current bonus. The starting dodge chance becomes 25%, which scales up to a maximum of 45%.

Equipping every piece of the Zookeeper set provides the Repro Enhancement set bonus, which powers up the player's Repros in ways unique to each Repro.

Interactions and Synergies

• Zookeeper's Burden gives the player one of every Repro, instantly hitting the 30% dodge chance cap for the armour.
• It's Egg! provides multiple Repros upon hatching, providing the contractor one "stack" of damage negation immediately and progressing to several stacks once it hatches.
• Zookeeper's Phalanx does not affect damage inflicted by Burn for Glory, Gears of Industry, or red vending machines.

History

• Early Access 0.36.0: Reduced effectiveness. Now only grants +4% extra dodge chance per Repro (down from +8%), and the cap is now 30% (down from 50%).
