Rage Insurance is a Prototype Augment. When obtained, the player gains multiplier to their damage which starts at 0.7, but every time they lose health as a result of taking damage the multiplier will be increased by 0.05, with the value of the multiplier being capped at 1.5. At the start of each level, the multiplier is reset to 0.7.
With Prototype Resonator, the value of the damage multiplier upon pickup and at the start of each level will be 0.85 instead of 0.7.
Collecting System Restore will do nothing?
Interactions
- If incoming damage is negated due to the effects of items such as
Remnant of Flame or
Earthmetal Plating, the multiplier will not be affected.
- Damage inflicted by
Burn for Glory,
Gears of Industry, or red vending machines will not affect the multiplier.
- When appearing as an offer from shops and the Smuggler due to the effects of
Madness Fountain, this prototype costs 2 nuts and 1
Scrapbit respectively.
Trivia
- While some items that claim they are triggered on damage taken are also triggered by healing, such as
Rage Circuit and
Pain Circuit, Rage Insurance is not.

- Release 1.1.02: Healing, negated damage, damage to only armor, and damage inflicted by
Burn for Glory,
Gears of Industry, or red vending machines will no longer affect the multiplier.
