Utilifier MAX is a Prototype Augment. When obtained, the cost of all Powers and Techniques is reduced by 20 energy, but they only do 1 damage per hit, regardless of how they scale. If multiple copies of this prototype are acquired, there is no additional effect.

With Prototype Resonator, Power and Technique costs are instead reduced by 25 energy.

Collecting System Restore will restore the damage of Powers to normal.

Interactions

• Powers which drain energy over time, like Void Double or File:Negation Barrier.png Negation Barrier, do not have their energy costs reduced by Utilifier MAX.
• Crystal Wave normally deals 0 damage per hit, but Utilifier MAX raises the damage to 1.
• Void Double duplicates the player's primary weapons instead of dealing damage itself, and so is completely unaffected by Utilifier MAX, even with its diagonal projectiles.
• When appearing as an offer from shops and the Smuggler due to the effects of Madness Fountain, this prototype costs 2 nuts and 1 Scrapbit respectively.

Bugs

• Whether Utilifier MAX reduces Power and Technique costs by 20 or 25 energy depends on whether the player has Prototype Resonator in their inventory, not whether they had it upon obtaining the prototype.
