Consuming Fury is a Prototype Augment. When obtained, it grants the player 1 attack strength and 1 power strength. Additionally, whenever the player defeats a boss, they receive an additional 1 attack strength and 1 power strength, but their maximum health gets reduced by 15. If multiple copies of this prototype are obtained, all of its effects will stack additively.
With 
Prototype Resonator, it grants the player 2 attack strength and 2 power strength upon pickup and after each boss kill.
Collecting 
System Restore will stop the player from losing maximum health upon defeating a boss.
Interactions
- When appearing as an offer from shops and the Smuggler due to the effects of
Madness Fountain, this prototype costs 2 nuts and 1 
Scrapbit respectively.
Trivia
Consuming Fury is based on the 20XX Prototype 
Consuming Fury, and has almost the exact same effect.- When cured with
System Restore, the message that appears is: the agony abates.

History
- Early Access 0.50.0: Reduced maximum health loss on boss kill to 15. Previously, it reduced maximum health by 20 on boss kill.
- Early Access 0.40.0: Reduced attack and power strength gain on boss kill to +1. Previously, it granted +2 attack and power strength on boss kill.
- Early Access 0.37.0: Released.
