Vagrant's Yearn is a core augment. When equipped, whenever the player is hit, they will release a damaging Negation Pulse shockwave which deals 20 base damage and scales off of power strength the same way Powers do. If the player maxes out their Corruption and goes into Overheat, they become invincible to most damage in addition to the normal downsides of Overheat. Taking hits during Overheat will reduce the player's Corruption by 16.66%.

With the Resonant Chestplate, whenever the player goes into Overheat, they will constantly emit damaging shockwaves every 0.5 seconds until fully cooled down. Each pulse will consume 6.67% Corruption and deal the same damage as the pulses emitted upon being hit.

Equipping every piece of the Vagrant set provides a set bonus, which prevents Corruption from decaying over time and reduces Corruption loss when taking damage during Overheat by 50%.

Interactions

• The damage immunity given during Overheat does not apply to damage inflicted by Burn for Glory, Gears of Industry, or red vending machines.

History

• Release 1.2.0: The pulses emitted during Overheat from the effects of Resonant Chestplate will now reduce Corruption by 6.67% each, preventing them from lasting infinitely.
• Early Access 0.55.0: Set Bonus reworked. Previously, it prevented the player's Corruption from going below 20%.
• Early Access 0.41.0: Completely reworked. Previously, the description was "Venting full Corruption heals you." When the user maxed out their Corruption, they would gain 2 health instead of losing 2 health.
