Consuming Stamina is a Prototype Augment. When obtained, it increases the player's maximum energy by 30. Additionally, whenever the player defeats a boss, their maximum energy gets further increased by 30, and their maximum health gets reduced by 10. If multiple copies of this prototype are acquired, all of its effects will stack additively.

With Prototype Resonator, the maximum energy gain increases to 50.

Collecting System Restore stops the player from losing maximum health whenever they defeat a boss.

Interactions

• When appearing as an offer from shops and the Smuggler due to the effects of Madness Fountain, this prototype costs 2 nuts and 1 Scrapbit respectively.

Trivia

• Consuming Stamina is loosely based on the 20XX prototype Consuming Fury, but grants maximum energy instead of attack and power strength.
• When cured with System Restore, the message that appears is: the agony abates.

History

• Early Access 0.50.0: Now reduces Max HP by 10 and grants 30 Max Energy per level. Previously, it reduced Max HP by 20 and granted 40 Max Energy.
