High Velocity is an augment introduced alongside the rest of Nina's character-exclusive augments.

Every copy obtained will increase the velocity of Nina's projectiles.

Interactions

• When appearing in shops due to the effects of rerolls, this item costs 12 nuts.
• While this augment does not directly affect Nina's attack speed, it can lead to projectiles despawning sooner due to colliding with things such as walls, letting her fire additional shots sooner in some cases.

Trivia

• Despite having a complete behavior and icon, High Velocity did not properly drop in-game for a long time after its introduction. If spawned in, its tooltip would read "~" for both name and description. It still had pickup text, however: "shot velocity up!". With the introduction of the 30XX Maker and Full Level Mode, High Velocity was spawnable through the Editor, added to the in-game drop pool and given a proper tooltip.

• Release 1.1.03: Fixed an issue where High Velocity would not spawn. (Hopefully for real this time.)
• Release 1.0.19: Fixed an issue where the projectile speed increase would not apply to Nina's Primary Weapons. (Previously, it would only affect Powers and Oxjack's Ken)
• Early Access 0.55.0:
  • "Fixed" an issue where High Velocity would not spawn. (Again.)
  • Can now be placed through the newly-introduced Full Level Mode in the Maker.
  • Now has a complete tooltip.
• Early Access 0.48.0: "Fixed" an issue where High Velocity would not spawn. (Previously, it would only spawn in co-op, due to a bug.)
• Early Access 0.22.0: Introduced, but unobtainable.
