Plasma Beam is a Primary Weapon for Nina. When equipped, firing a fully charged shot at an enemy will leave a lingering damage zone for 0.5 seconds, dealing 3 base damage for up to 3 hits. The damage of this zone scales off of power strength, rather than attack strength. Additionally, fully charged shots will always pierce through enemies, even if the shot doesn't kill. Plasma Beam cannot be used with
Verity Beam.
History
- Early Access 0.56.0:
- Damage reduced to 0.3x Power Strength. Previously, it was 0.5x Power Strength.
- Lingering damage zone duration reduced to 0.5 seconds (from 1 second).
- An enemy can now only have one lingering damage zone spawned on it per 0.5 seconds, preventing situations where weapons like
Scatterblast spawned multiple zones on a single enemy.
