Hunger for battle!

Thrill of Battle is an augment and the counterpart to 
Patient Hunter. When obtained, the player is given an additive 50% damage bonus when starting a boss fight. Every second, this bonus is reduced by a subtractive 5%. Each additional copy of this augment will increase the starting boost by an additive 50% and the loss per second by an additive 5%.
Interactions and Synergies
- This Aug synergizes well with
Patient Hunter, as having both effectively guarantees some form of damage bonus at any point during a boss fight. - Only applies half its normal damage boost to Repros.
Crushing Hysteria, 
Flaring Hysteria, and 
Triplicate Spirits will not grant additional copies of this augment.
History
- Release 1.1.03: Now only applies half its normal damage boost to Repros.
- Release 1.1.02: Crushing Hysteria, Flaring Hysteria, and Triplicate Spirits will no longer grant additional copies of this augment.
- Early Access 0.40.0: Increased shop cost to 48. Previously, it cost 40 nuts.
- Early Access 0.25.0: No longer completely depletes itself after the first second of a boss fight.
- Early Access 0.22.0pt (Public Test Branch): Released.
