Vagrant's Waltz is a core augment. When equipped, the player's dash speed is increased by 25%, and they will regain the ability to dash while in Overheat. While in Overheat, the player's dash will be able to damage enemies it hits, and the player's dash will continue for as long as they hold the dash button. This dash deals 50 base damage, plus 10 base damage for each point of bonus movement speed the player has. Dashing during Overheat will reduce Corruption by about 21% every second.

With the Resonant Boots, ???.

Equipping every piece of the Vagrant set provides a set bonus, which prevents Corruption from decaying over time and reduces Corruption loss of actions besides dashing during Overheat by 50%. Additionally, reaching 0% Corruption while dashing will not end Overheat, though initiating a dash at 0% Corruption will.

History

• Release 1.2.0: Changed Overheat effect. Instead of replacing the player's dash with a nearly instant warp, it instead enables them to dash as long as they want, while also letting them deal damage to enemies they dash into.
• Early Access 0.55.0:
  • Now also grants 25% increased dash speed. In addition, using the blink-dash during Overheat now reduces Corruption by 33.3%
  • Set Bonus reworked. Previously, it prevented the player's Corruption from going below 20%.
