Void Double is a Technique for Ace, Jest and Delta, obtained by defeating Absolution. When used, it spawns a shadow clone in front of the player that mimics their melee attacks. The clone will move along with them, staying in front of the player if they turn around. Pressing the button again will deactivate the clone, causing it to fire a scythe at the closest enemy. The scythes deal 5 damage per successful hit dealt by the player while the clone was active, up to 100 damage, scaling off of attack strength.

Unleash Blade (Lucavi, Grandmaster),
Zen Ascent,
Osafune,
Dolomite Link and
Ryuusei will correctly be used by the clone as well.
Trivia
- Void Double first appeared in one of the Town Hall livestreams. At the time, its name appeared as Ace6 and it had no description text.
History
- Early Access 0.56.0:
- Now only fires one scythe which targets the nearest enemy, instead of two scythes diagonally upwards.
- Maximum damage stacks for Void Double's scythes capped at 20. Previously, they were uncapped.
- Early Access 0.45.0: The void now follows the direction Ace is facing, instead of staying on the side it was summoned.
- Early Access 0.40.0: The camera no longer centres between Ace and the void while active.
- Early Access 0.39.0:
- Greatly increased the size of the scythe hitbox, so it no longer misses enemies that it looks like it should hit.
- Fixed an issue causing Void Double to deactivate when the player's gravity flips.
- Early Access 0.36.0:
- Completely overhauled. Previously, it spawned a double at the casting location which was stationary - pressing the button again would teleport you to the double instead of shooting scythes.
- Early Access 0.33.0:
- Removed the Surge mechanic.
- The camera now centres between Ace and the void while active.
- Added an interaction with Osafune.
- Early Access 0.19.0: Surged version of the Technique was added.
- Early Access 0.16.2: Now faster to use. Cast time reduced to 250ms, down from 500ms.
- Early Access 0.15.0: Released.
