Murderdrone is a Repro-type augment. When obtained, it trails behind the user, firing a projectile at an enemy in a large radius around itself every 2 seconds. Each projectile deals 8 damage and gains an additive 5% damage for each bonus point of attack strength the player has. Each point of attack strength below the default the player has will reduce the damage by a subtractive 5%, capping at -90% damage with -18 attack strength.

Picking up more than one Murderdrone will raise its level by 1, increasing the base damage by 4 and slightly increasing its projectile speed. With the Zookeeper's Set Bonus active, its attack speed is doubled.

Interactions

• The damage dealt by Murderdrone is not affected by Counterstrike, Kinetic Destructor, or Rage Circuit.
• Murderdrone as well as all other attacking Repros only receive half the normal benefit of non-multiplicative global damage boosts such as Shield Bash.
  • Murderdrone and other attack strength scaling Repros also receive half the normal benefit of Core Aggressor.

Trivia

• Murderdrone is based on the 20XX augment Murderdrone, and has almost the exact same effect.
• Just like in 20XX, the tooltip for Murderdrone claims that it orbits around the user, when in fact it trails behind them.

History

• Release 1.2.0: Appears less often and now costs 43 nuts instead of 35. This also increased its salvage value from 2 to 3.
• Release 1.1.03: No longer benefits from Counterstrike, Kinetic Destructor, or Rage Circuit, and receives half the normal boost from Core Aggressor and non-multiplicative global damage buffs such as Shield Bash.
• Release 1.1.00: Reduced the damage bonus per point of attack strength from 10% to 5%.
• Unknown Version: Damage increased from 0.75x Attack Strength to 0.8x Attack Strength
• Early Access 0.24.0:
  • Now obtainable again.
  • Damage reduced from 1.0x Attack Strength to 0.75x Attack Strength.
