Sanity Converter is a Prototype Augment. When obtained, the player gains a 2.0x multiplier to Power Strength. Whenever the player uses a Power it costs Maximum Energy, but they gain +1 Power Strength for every Maximum Energy lost. In the case of a Power using less than 1 Maximum Energy (like Vera or Protorifle), there is a chance to gain Power Strength relative to the energy cost.

Collecting System Restore will stop the player from losing Maximum Energy and gaining Power Strength whenever they use a Power.

When playing as a Revenant, the multiplier to Power Strength is increased to 2.5x.

• When cured with System Restore, the message that appears is: Your sanity returns.
