Vera is a Power for all characters, acquired after defeating Perforator. It rapidly fires a stream of yellow shots with very minor spread, at a rate of 25 shots per second. Shots fired from this weapon do not trigger boss invulnerability frames, and push regular enemies back slightly with every hit. The projectiles can be aimed in any of the 4 cardinal directions.

If the weapon is fired straight down, the player will be propelled upwards somewhat - allowing them makeshift flight so long as they have the energy to spend.

When used on Kur, the bullets do reduced damage. However, Kur's Quint Laser attack can be reflected back at him for significant damage.

With the Owlhawk Set Bonus, it now fires twice as many bullets per second. Energy use per second is unaffected.
