Gimmicks

Object Description
Faith Blocks Place in groups of three. When the player jumps from one of these, it'll vanish, and the next set in the sequence will appear. (Red -> Blue -> Green) If 5(?) seconds pass without any player touching the blocks, they reset and the Red Faith Blocks become tangible again. Platform length is variable. Comes in both horizontal and vertical varieties.
Orb Block Activator Activator for sets of Orb Blocks. When you hit this, the current group of Orb Blocks will vanish, and the next set in sequence will appear.
Orb Blocks Uses the Faith Block "group cycle" system, but relies on an Activator to be struck instead. Platform length is variable. Comes in both horizontal and vertical varieties.
Reflector Projectiles that strike a reflector will bounce off in the indicated direction. Can be rotated by pressing Interact, or by hitting it with a charged projectile. Shots reflected from mirrors will also have their travel timer reset. Enemy shots which are reflected can deal damage to enemies as well as the player.
Wall Beamer Wall-mounted hazard that fires in bursts. Popular combo with Reflectors. Shots damage the player for 1 Projectile damage. The rate at which they fire is variable.
Void Spawner Wall or Floor-mounted sentry spawner. Periodically spits out a Void Orb that'll chase the player. Can only spit out one orb at a time. Spawn frequency is variable.
Spikes A stationary hazard. Touching the spikes will damage the player for 1 Hazard damage. The player cannot wall jump on spikes, even if they have knockback resistance.
Lava A liquid hazard. Falling into lava will damage the player for 1 Hazard damage, and respawn them on the last safe spot they were on.

Trivia

  • Penumbra is the only stage without an Intensity Mix, as the music instead has multiple sections which change depending on which part of the stage the player is in.
