Quickly patrols from side to side. Its front face is armored, protecting it from most forms of damage.

Drill Faces are enemies that appear in Echocave. They are essentially massive shields on rockets, adorned with crystals and two large drills.

Drill Faces resemble the Shield Attacker enemy from the Mega Man series.

Behavior

Drill Faces move back and forth along a set horizontal path, periodically flipping over to turn around. Attacking its front face will not damage it unless the player has Quantum Spook. Attacking it from any other angle, however, will damage it as normal.

Beta Drill Faces are light blue as opposed to yellow. When an attack hits a Beta Drill Face's shield, it will disperse into 4 projectiles, reflected back at the player.

Gamma Drill Faces have a purple body, and sport 4 drills on the center of the shield instead of 2. They have a pair of yellow eyes placed on the side of the shield, not unlike a flounder. When an attack hits a Gamma Drill Face's shield, it will retaliate with 3 lasers, reflected back at the player. They deal 2 contact damage as opposed to 1.
