Splinterfrost is a Power for all characters, acquired after defeating Shatterbeak. It fires a large ice shard which splits into a semicircle of smaller ice shards upon impact with a solid object or enemy. The large shard can be aimed forwards or diagonally, but not vertically up or down.

If a shard collides with the flamespewers in Agnisort, they will be permanently frozen and will become unable to fire.

When used on the Sun Astral, he will become frozen and will be unable to attack for a time. This doesn't apply to the Moon Astral, although the Moon Astral won't be able to start an attack if the Sun Astral is frozen.

With the Owlhawk Set Bonus, it splits into a full circle of ice shards upon contact, instead of a semicircle.
