Charging Magnet is an augment. When obtained, holding the charge button will attract nearby pickups and draw them towards the player.
It can be found as a drop from Gold Chests. It can also be found in Shops with a price of 10 Nuts.
Synergies
- Charging Magnet can be used as a low-risk method to rescue pickups from pits of lava or before they fall into a bottomless pit.
- Charging Magnet does not work automatically with the Autocharge option in the game options. The attack button must be held to attract pickups, even if the option is enabled.
- As Draco has a different charging mechanic, Charging Magnet has no effect when obtained by him.
Trivia
- In the 1.2 Update for 20XX, Charging Magnet had its sprite changed. Originally, it resembled the helmet of Magneto from X-Men with a thumbs-up beside it.
